Razer Project Fiona - gaming tablet with Core i7 and a unique form-factor

At CES, Razer has demonstrated the vision to truly play a Tablet PC.The gadget, received the code name «Project Fiona», is quite different from what most people are accustomed to understand by the word "tablet".


While most of the Tablet PC can run certain game applications, Project Fiona promises to please their owners fascinating and complex games with colorful graphics, which does not give gamesfor PC and consoles. To do this, the device will need a powerful processor, to whom should be the Intel Ivy Bridge Core i7.
Others will controls: apparently, the touch screen in the Project Fiona needed, mainly for the basic "tablet" functions, such as theInternet and applications. As for the gameplay, the user is askedhere a couple of controllers, located on both sides of thetouchscreen.

Mentioned characteristics of the device at CES include a 3-axisgyro, accelerometer, magnetometer, force feedback, the sound isDolby 7.1, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth 3.0.

It is assumed that the Project Fiona will bring to the stage of a commercial product later this or early next year. As for the cost ofnew items, we only know that it will be less than $ 1,000.
